Joe received the rank of Captain in July, 1970
He left the service, completed his degree work at LSU, Baton Rouge, LA.  Married in '64 upon his return from Viet Nam he fathered three children, a daughter and two sons. At the time of his passing in 1994 he had been with United Parcel Service for 29 years and was a District Manager for So.Cal.
He left us July 14, 1994 after a seven month battle with Leukemia.
