A MEMORIAL SERVICE ON THE BEACH

IN MEMORIAM

When brave and dedicated men such as these will offer their lives in the cause of preservation of man and his freedom, there is still hope for the world.

Stanley G. Johnson came to Vietnam to do his share to keep free men free.  Flying his first mission he gave the ultimate sacrifice a man can be asked to give.  The void he left was felt deeply and put into focus our mission.  With this we bid farewell.

Robert L. Womack was a man who stated he was ready anytime his "Maker" called.  He was an inspiration to both officer and enlisted men with his dedication.  His desire to contribute his all has set an example that many have followed.

Every organization needs a strong silent type: never complaining and always doing his share and more.  Gary L. Dowell was ours.

Robert H. White was an individual who gave his all for his country.  His tour was nearing the end but he felt his place was with his aircraft and where it went he went.  This type of dedication is what makes America what it is today.  To him we pay homage.

Warren L. Dempsey was truly a dedicated Marine,  Extending to come to Vietnam to fight alongside his buddies he made the great sacrifice.  A quiet man was he yet inside he was full.  He was humble and sincere.  We were proud to serve with him.

It was difficult to believe that this man who was laughing one minute could be such a competent pilot the next.  This was Kirk I. Riley.  His loss was a deep loss for everyone.  He grew with 364 and helped develop the young  pilots.  We grieve his loss deeply.
