This was the sign that hung
outside the maintenance hanger which indicated the home of the CH-46D.
We were the first squadron to come completely equipped with the new 'D'
model CH-46.

LCpl. Ronald L. Dion worked in the avionics shop.
He also volunteered to fly as an Aerial Gunner with the squadron and was
awarded a Single Mission Air Medal for action against the enemy on 17
December 1968.
