Probably one of the proudest moments to those who
volunteered to fly combat missions as a gunner or crew chief was the day
they were awarded their Combat Aircrew Insignia to wear on a permanent
basis. Your webmaster has included Cpl. Martin L. Edwards citation
so all can recall the day theirs was received and what it said. "Uncle
Frank" expresses his thanks guys, you made the aircrew team complete.
