Cpl. Jesus "Chuy" Elorreaga
was a hydralicsman but flew as right gunner as often as his maintenance
duties would allow. He extended for six months, then got upset when
Col. Steadman refused to let him extend for another six months. Upon
meeting Col. Steadman at a later reunion, Elorreaga thanked him for not
allowing him to extend again.
