"A Lot of Old and Something New"
The bird, in spite of the instrument panel face lift, fuel tank augmentations and other changes, along with George Lycan on the left and Warren Smith on the right are the "old."  1stLt. John M. Lewis is the only part of this photo that is "new."

"I just had the honor of spending Thursday through Saturday with Marines from the start of HMM-364 to the current standard bearers. Those of us from that proud starting point are bearing up, although we lost two trying to make it to our reunion. I am most proud of those of the current squadron that made the effort to share the weekend with us. They are in better shape and a lot smarter than I ever remember us being at that stage. I was amazed that 16 of our 18 guests had reenlisted for another tour. Their dedication was apparent and unshakable."
