Cpl. Marvin C. "Curtis" Brown
was a battalion radio operator attached to India Co. in November 1967.
Earned a Bronze Star on the hill and was also wounded. Dave Powell
mentioned him in an article as being a member of one of the first
flag raising teams on the hill.

The CH-53 is replacing one of the 105 Howitzers which
was damaged beyond repair very early after arriving. The two that
remained served us very well. This delivery was made around the first
or second week in April 1968.
