We were not allowed booze in the hootch, so we rummaged
through the officer's garbage cans to find their empties which we decorated
with. Now, if you believe that I have another one for you!

Medical evacuations, bullets, beans and water were
extremely important to our Grunts, but nothing was better for morale than
to hear from their loved ones back in the "world." Here we are hauling
the mail.
